An Introduction to Auras and the Meanings of Their Colors

Intro To Auras

Throughout life, we sometimes feel uncomfortable in crowded spaces. There may be moments when we feel our personal space has been invaded, and only some people can get close. This feeling is an auric response. Other people's auras may intrude upon us when we feel this way.

The presence of certain people can make us feel uneasy or even sick. We may sense something is off or wrong when entering a room. The human aura is a strong electromagnetic field that gives off the electrical energy and absorbs magnetic energy. We feel this energy in rooms full of people, where energies vary, and positive and negative energies are interchanged.

The aura is an extension of our own energies. It can be strong, weak, fair, light, bright, dull, or dense. It is a band of energy surrounding us; life energy is around every living thing, including all plant life, especially trees, birds, animals, and of course, people.

Auras can be seen psychically with the eyes closed or with the eyes open and unfocused. Seven layers exist in the human aura. However, the more perceivable layers are the first three.
